Medicaid is fucking stellar if you have it right now. Need an x-ray for a broken bone? Done. Need followup ortho care? Paid.

Think you have a staph infection? Need a toenail to not be fucked up anymore? Need glasses? Done and done and done.

Preventative and regular care being covered is HUGE and would help everyone. But they don't want that.

The downside is the best places for treatment generally don't accept Medicaid. If you have Medicaid you are almost certainly getting lower quality care than someone with a private insurance payer.

Any adequate care is better than none.

You're missing the point, good care for me, shit care for thee.

You're missing my point: a staph infection can be treated in both places. antibiotics will work whether or not your doctor's office gave you coffee, cable tv, and a 24-hour on call service, and a plastic surgeon reference.

I'm literally saying that any care anyone can get is better than none otherwise.

Edit: And it wouldn't be a dime out of my pocket to get the antibiotics.

but it will lead to long waits!
I'll take a week off and wait for days.
Better than bankruptcy and financial ruin

It's remarkable how when everyone is getting the healthcare they need that they have to wait longer... lol

Like maybe--JUST MAYBE--you didn't have the supply to meet the demand. And maybe that's because not everyone was able to afford the thing they needed and now that they can, you didn't do your part to make sure you had everything you needed to take care of your citizens..

It's so fucking stupid. Giving everyone healthcare will expose the flaws in the system, and one of them being how only people who can AFFORD TO BE DOCTORS are doctors and how they feel entitled to pay to make up for the loans and the cars and the boats they have when they were paid insane amounts of money to do their job from overbilling insurance...

(Edit: I'm not saying YOU. I mean the royal you. It was a rant at the system. Not you.)
