Depends on if you call replaying the same game with slightly newer graphics or on a slightly different console new content, if you don’t though then yes you are correct ESO has much more content, probably not as much as daggerfall tho

My dream is that it doesn’t get remastered lol. Why do people want resources being spent on a game that already exists that you can play and mod forever when we are still waiting for ANY info on ES6?

No chance. If there was a remaster in the works the Skyblivion team would have been slapped with a cease and desist a long time ago. Instead the project got featured on Bethesda's official website last year and BGS is supporting the project,
Side note: A few years back, a modding team was working on a Fallout 3 remake for Fallout 4. They even showcased some gameplay and not long after they shut down the project after receiving a cease and desist.
A Fallout 3 remaster is more likely than an Oblivion remaster. And that's still a long shot.

There's no chance that even if a remaster was happening that BGS would slap them with a C&D the only time a remaster team got C&D'd was because they were using the original voice lines without paying the royalties required for the Actors.

The good news is, Skyblivion is coming and looks amazing. If there is a remaster, skyblivion will still be way better for sure.

No, it won't be. Because the Skyrim system is not as good as the one in oblivion. Sure it was cool at the time to forge your own weapons but since pretty much every game does that now, it's lost its appeal. Making your own spells on the other hand will never get old

Oh that's awesome. I thought they were just taking all the quests and locations and putting them into Skyrim. But they aren't using the oblivion character sheet or levelling system are they?

I would say there is high chance there is oblivion remaster, spanish insider xtas1s said in a video it was oblivion, I didn't believed at first but yesterday he posted on X the date of the direct and that they would announce it today, so it could be true the guy has an inside source

Bethesda isn't rockstar they didn't ever cease any mod projects, they know the hate that would bring. It will happen maybe not on the direct but for sure this year, the leak has been confirmed to be true. Just inform yourself.

Wrong. Bethesda asked them to cease and desist before the project even really got off the ground.
From Capital Wasteland project lead:
"Recently we communicated with Bethesda regarding our planned method to implement the voice acting and other audio from Fallout 3 into the Capital Wasteland. During this conversation it became clear our planned approach would raise serious red flags that we had unfortunately not foreseen. This contact resulted in use changing our methods to attempt to continue working."
"If we were to continue and complete Fallout 3 in Fallout 4, legally I, as the project lead, would most probably be liable for any acts of piracy and copyright infringement resulting from the project's release."

I have no hope for this tbh. Even if it is oblivion remaster, unless it's a shadowdrop, I just won't care. Xbox needs better 1st quarter titles period.

Didn't SkyBlivion get the greenlight from bethesda? It would be evil to remaster the game just as the project finishes 🤣 especially since the volunteers aren't getting paid.

I would favor a remaster so that console gamers can also play the game, it's a win for everyone. Us PC-only gamers will only benefit from Skyblivion.

I met Glarthir behind the Great Chapel of Julianos and he told me the surprise game is indeed the Oblivion remaster.
