craziest part about this is the fact that this will be sort of the swan song for this old ass meme

He has "stepped down" into the dustbin of history.

Who's next, Iran or Russia?

I hope he grabbed a coat on the way to Moscow.... The winters in Russia are something else indeed.

Theres word that Israel has crossed the Golan Heights because they don’t want radical salafists ruling Syria. This organization is designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the State Department: https://www.csis.org/programs/former-programs/warfare-irregular-threats-and-terrorism-program-archives/terrorism-backgrounders/hayat-tahrir Thousands of Christians and Kurds fear for their lives, theres nothing to celebrate

Don't pretend that Assad was some sort of great defender of Christians and Kurds. The number of Syrian Christians reduced by 80% in areas under him and he used chemical weapons on Kurdish populations. I will happily dance on the grave of that butcher and his Russian/Iranian masters. As I've said elsewhere, I'm sure that HTS is bad, but doubt they will be worse.

I bet radical salafists will be much better for them. Reality is, sometimes you don’t get the ideal choice. I know christians who lived in Syria. They didn’t feel safe under anyone else, and of course they left due to war. Why did christian militias fight for Assad then? HTS is a designated FTO that wears the ISIS flag on their sleeves, how will they possibly be any better?

It's difficult to determine who will rule Syria,it isn't even united now, also who knows ,to rule Syria, they might have to moderate

I’d hope so, but it seems the SDF is the only hope left for a non-jihadi Syria, then again it seems most people here think thats a good thing

Honestly Man, after 9/11 we went a little too ape on Islamist Terrorism, it's good when the Wahhabists want to throw themselves at the Russian Empire, we should encourage that.
