Leaving Nashville Discussion
Have you been living here for a while now and are you wanting to move either because of the traffic, politics, home prices, jobs, culture or religion etc ? Please share your opinions because I have plenty and want to hear other's! Thank you!

I grew up in New England! It's a better place than Tennessee in most ways. The biggest downside is that the people are pretty cold and it's hard to break into a social scene. Like, really really hard. If your parents aren't from the area you will always feel like a bit of an outsider even if you were born and raised there. It is not a friendly culture. The extroverted, laid back nature of Tennesseans is one of my favorite things about living here; it's a breath of fresh air compared to the culture I grew up in. The second biggest downside is the cost of living. Housing prices are crazy. Otherwise it's prettier, cleaner, feels safer, has better access to nature and beaches and big cities, and the summer weather is stunning. However, I personally prefer the mid Atlantic to New England because it's geographically similar but has a less buttoned up culture that makes it easier to meet people. You should also consider NY, PA, NJ and Maryland!
