What’s a Nashville “life hack” everyone living here should know? Discussion

I saw this same question in r/NewOrleans and the answers were fantastic!

I guess I’ll start (but this one is nearly Universal now):

Take a solid pause and look both ways after the light goes green to avoid folks speeding through the beginnings of red lights!

Also, at least for people who live somewhere in the city, takinng an Uber to BNA is usually cheaper and easier than parking. Just make sure your departure or arrival doesn’t coincide with a titans game or other large event

And if you live outside of the city, depending on your departure and arrival times, it can still be cheaper than parking at the airport

Just did this. Husband flew out a day before me, plus his parking was reimbursed by work. I scheduled an Uber for my flight out to meet him. That $80 ride was still cheaper than leaving my car at the airport for 4 days.

Tip: taking a cab to the airport is cheaper than an Uber and there’s a flat rate. Bonus: I’ve never feared for my life in a cab.

I've had cab drivers try to scam me here before. It's also not a flat rate to every location.

you can park at one of the hotels near the airport, take the shuttle and save money... it's not free but much cheaper than parking at the airport
