What’s a Nashville “life hack” everyone living here should know? Discussion

I saw this same question in r/NewOrleans and the answers were fantastic!

I guess I’ll start (but this one is nearly Universal now):

Take a solid pause and look both ways after the light goes green to avoid folks speeding through the beginnings of red lights!

Some of you don’t know about the little service road along Donelson Pike as an airport pick up hack.

I usually just pick them up at the departures level. Stay in the far right lane to the terminal and you’ll usually avoid most traffic.

I guess I'm one of them. Intriguing! How's that work? Does the pick-ee walk down to the end of the sidewalk, behind concourse D, where the service road curves around to meet Terminal Drive?

Yep, tell your pickup to come out the departures level at BNA, walk down behind Concourse D. Not bad at all.

Just be careful tho— if it’s my mom you’re picking up, this will never ever ever work, no matter how many times you try it or explain it

She will always be on the wrong level
