HF Gordon Multi
I just purchased a Gordon Multitool from Harbor Freight yesterday, and am feeling some buyers remorse. Im usually a Leatherman guy, but got it because Ive heard good things. Its okay, I really like the smaller size because I usually EDC a Surge for work. But I think I should take it back, or sell it off to someone else and just get a Wave if I want a Multi in that size and platform. Any advice?
Side note, one thing that is burning me about the Gordon is the ruler is in tenths of an inch. How many machinists are using this tool?? That might be the dealbreaker for me.

Just take it back if you can. If not give someone a deal on it and just use that to cover a portion of the wave. I don’t think you will be happy until you have a wave. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, get what’s going to make you happiest.

Got myself the Bibury Surge clone. Love it. Use it all the time and had no issues on a building site.

Return it and use the $40 towards a better product.
I picked up a Gordon last week. I was excited to find it based on the hype it gets around here. Regretted it immediately. Feels cheap, the magnetic locking for the bits and eyewear drivers was weak, and the scissors bent after cutting two small zip ties. The bent cause them to get stuck from pulling them out and I needed another tool to be able to use them. Returned and refunded. Was able to order a Wave+ from the REI sale to assist my Curl instead.

Yeah, buy the Wave.
I don't understand the appeal of all the knockoffs. I guess people haven't heard 'you get what you pay for'

The appeal is that the quality on many of them is getting better, some would say starting to rival Leatherman, and at a fraction of the price.

It is what it is, a cheap clone. Keep it in your vehicle or another place to use or lose instead of the more expensive alternatives. I think it’s a good tool for the price

I'm just not a big fan of the Wave in general. No awl. Mediocre scissors. Hand pinch plier design. No thank you. At least the Multiforce offers a real 1/4" bit driver, better scissors and eliminated the hand pinch.
