little help, sub rules. Question/Advice

Which sub is best for selling a multitool?

I have a tool I'd like to sell. I posted it here, there was a flair for "for sale." It was removed. I was told to post in r/edcexchange. I read the rules, the want pics but don't allow attachments.

There is a rule against sharing personal info, which would be required to make the sale. Ultimately it simply doesn’t fit the description of the sub which is for discussion of multitools and showing off mods, etc. The main problem is that we have no way to vet sellers. I will however discuss this with the other mods and see what they think. I fear if we allow personal sales, then a flood will follow, including scammers, and I would like to avoid that.

Like I said, I’ll discuss with the other mods. I know of a couple of subs that are not aimed towards sales but manage to allow such posts (r/chineseknives for instance), but most knife and tool related subs do not.

Cool. I get it, it all makes sense.

Do you know what the "for sale" flair is for? Is that asking questions about selling items?

I second this question. Why have a for sale tag?
