Flex Companion Scale Tool Mod? Question/Advice

I got my Roxon Flex Companion and found that the included tool holder with the tweezers, pen, and needle takes up two whole slots in the tool. Since this tool is supposed to go up against the SAK which includes those tools as freebies in the scales, I'm surprised that Roxon didn't implement those tools in a better way. Does anyone know if there is a scale tool mods coming or if anyone has figured out how to modify the existing scales to hold at least the pen and tweezers?

My solution is to pair a Roxon M3 with the Flex Companion. The M3 offers the best folding scissors on the market. The tool is small, and can be stored on a keychain or in a 5th pocket. It has an inline locking awl, along with toothpick, tweezers, micro driver, #1 Phillips and combo opener.

The M3 frees up two spots in my Flex Companion for other tools (scissors, awl). I carry a pen in my wallet.

What O-Pen is that? It looks different compared to my mini.

Thanks - the new O'Pen Mini 2. It has a pen on one end and pencil on the other. Bolt action both ways.

Most likely that wasnt a consideration until later in the design, and by then too much was set in stone for them to just add it in

I think it is still too soon for anyone to come up with a scale mod design. And you need to buy the scale plus and the pen separate to include in SAK (very few models have scale plus), it is not that freebie.

I agree that it's definitely early, I'm just impatient lol. I use the tweezers and pen all the time on my SAK. It came standard on my Cybertool so I'm not familiar with how many SAKs have the plus scales included vs ones that need them bought separate.

Yeah, I also would like this tool to gain more attention, someone already does some mod for the slot. Hope that more scale options will come in the future. I bought my Super Tinker and it didn't come with the pen, need to buy overpriced scale plus and the pen from Esty

You could carry a Manager on your keychain. Tweezers and the best SAK pen Victorinox makes.
