Looking for activities/groups for my free time to socialize more Things to Do

I'm finding myself with a lot of free time and would love to get involved in something. I've checked out the activities offered by the City and I found a few things that interest me, but nothing that really gets me excited. I've also looked into CMHA programs but they seem to be more educational and I'm looking for something more social. I love learning and would love to try a new hobby, sport, etc or learn something new. I'd prefer to keep it low cost, something comparable to what the City charges for their programming. I'm in my mid-twenties, enjoy crafting, reading, music, and food and drink. I'm also not super in shape but do love participating in fun and interesting sports. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Have you tried pickleball? There’s a couple of drop in sessions for beginners at True North (Wonderland S) and also at multiple YMCA locations. Players tend to be very friendly and open. I know the Y has other drop-in sports such as volleyball and basketball, but I haven’t checked them out yet and don’t know what the people are like.
