GitHub issue on iOS 15.1 Question

Post image

Whenever I go to a GitHub page it always shows up as plain html is it due to the firmware being very old or what? I’m on a IPad mini 6th gen on iOS 15.1 if that helps

It’s because of outdated WebKit. Use light mode to view it properly.

I’ve used [[AlwaysDark]] to make Safari launch in light mode, even when dark mode is enabled system wide. Until I updated a few days ago.

Incognito mode 👀, it will work better if you disable Dark Mode or use their app

A little laughter for the good feeling, I’m glad to hear everything is working.

you're using an old version of webkit by way of iOS 15.

You can also use the app, I do this on iOS 14/15

As others have said, the outdated Webkit causes problems. My issue is that Webkit on iOS/iPadOS < 15.4 does not recognise the @layer css at-rule which is used extensively in the GitHub Primer CSS design system. So Webkit does not pick up the font-family and reverts to a Times New Roman typeface...ugly

Install Deluminator, problem solved with being able to keep dark mode 👍
