Best iPhone and iPad for home Question

Hi everyone. I want to put an old iPhone at home that I can use mainly for streaming music with Spotify modified . Which old model and os should I look for? (With my main iPhone 15 pro I use AltStore so I’d like something permanent on an other device)

Is also use an old iPad to control HomeKit products. Which one is the best option? Could it be jailbroken and still have this option?
