The probe, launched in 2018, has already completed 21 fly-bys, but this Christmas Eve pass pushes its limits. Scientists eagerly await a signal on 28 December to confirm its survival and gather insights into the Sun's mysteries.

How did they get the picture of the spacecraft?

They didn't. Only in NASA facilities and computer graphics.

I've seen this and base on NASA the spacecraft is protected by a carbon-composite shield, it endures temperatures of 1,400°C and extreme radiation while traveling at an unprecedented 430,000 mph.

People always say this but to my knowledge there's not an entity that even is in charge of this

Is there some kind of ocean nasa equivalent?
