I'm just going to store these boxes of fireworks next to the biggest propane tank I can find, it's perfectly safe provided nothing ever goes wrong...

Do the fireworks get up and walk over to the stand and light themselves on fire? What are the odds of that stand blowing and taking the propane tank with it?

Something tells me the risk of a catastrophic accident is higher than if they weren't right next to each other. The first question if it all goes up is going to be 'why did you store fireworks next to a giant propane tank?'

They could do better. Why not sell the full propane cylinders at the fireworks stand?
