I only paid one time for the widget, now I can do too many customizations. I created Icon pack in shortcuts.

This is really cute and refreshing compared to the usual crap that’s posted on here.

This sub would be 10 × better if 50% of the posts were 50% as good as this one. A setup that took actual effort, that actually looks nice and with links and instructions on how to reproduce it to boot. Outstanding post.

Very happy with this updated setup even though I spent way longer than I should've on it. I wanted to do a sticker book type theme with faux transparent icons. The wallpaper and many of the widgets are carried over from my previous setup which I also posted here
Wallpaper: Credit to u/Bushwhack92 for the original here. I modified it slightly for vertical format: https://imgur.com/4cdKmUr and https://imgur.com/rufVSYc
Icons: From Icons8's "Stickers" icon set. I used the free 100 px x 100 px versions (for some icons, you can access larger sizes for free – that being said, I genuinely cannot tell apart any quality difference at the screen size of my phone (iPhone 15 pro), so I think 100 px x 100 px is perfectly enough). I did the "transparent" effect using Photopea (free online Photoshop-esque editor) by uploading a screenshot of my home screen filled with icons, then using the Slice tool to mark where all icons are located. Then, I uploaded a blank screenshot of my wallpaper/dock, uploaded the icons and placed them where I wanted, and exported to png (all your slices are exported into separate png files). I used Shortcuts to make them into icons.
Widgets: The widgets here are from MemorizeW (very simple app that lets you put "flashcards" in widgets – I use it for Chinese vocabulary that I'm trying to learn), Dawn (minimal calendar that I only have for the pretty widget), minical (calendar app that I sync my iCloud calendar to), Rain Viewer (weather app with nice free widgets; I actually have many of their widgets in a stack to show different weather information), Photo Widget (just to put in images for the sticker book effect), and Widgetsmith (I use it to cycle through a collection of famous art that I like - I use this app over others because it allows me to add a white border to preserve the theming). Would love to hear other functional widget suggestions that match this light theme aesthetic, if anyone has any!
