I don't know if it is specific of veneto region, but i say "in culo ai lupi", meaning "up the wolves' asses".
I know in Sicily they say "where our lord lost his shoes".. unni o signoruzzo pesse e scarpe
The funny thing is that the word "orto" is sort of a vulgar way to say "ass" the not so vulgar way would be "culo" or "cola". However the interesting thing is that the word "orto" actually has an older meaning which is where the sun sets in the horizon.
That means that at least for us, "en el orto del mundo" actually means over there where the sun is setting. Which is still pretty far away. So far away it doesn't even exists as it is technically an optical illusion
That goes for bad places too? In Hungary, the bad parts of the area are referred as the "4sshole of ...", as in "District 8, Józsefváros, is the 4sshole of Budapest"
Actually no, in Italian it only means a very remote place; we use "cesso" (a little vulgar synonim of toilet) to refer to bad/ugly/degraded places (or person, or object... it Is a very versatile word tbh). Józsefváros is a cesso

In Rome it is "in culo al mondo", on the ass of the world; often shortened as "culonia" (ass-land)
