No peafowl feathers in fws.gov Atlas? Question
Hi all! I’m new to feather identification and naturalist studies in general so please forgive me for my ignorance but is there a complete lack of peafowl feather in the fws.gov feather atlas or is it just my searching abilities? I’m looking for some reference photos of peafowl feathers for my studies. There are both a flock wild turkeys and a single peahen that roam free in my neighborhood. I’ve found quite a few turkey feathers but a few appear to have fallen from the peahen. How can I be sure? Thanks in advance

Feather atlas doesn’t have all invasive/native species, featherbase is German based but has species from around the world. Peacocks are not native to North America but they have a lot of North American species as well https://www.featherbase.info/hu/species/pavo/cristatus
