The hell? Feather

What the hell is this? Any idea what bird, & how the feathers might've fall out like this?

Found in South-Eastern Canada today. Residential place.

It would be impossible to identify those feathers. But it could've been plucked off and just so happened to land like that

What bird I don’t know, but that grouping can come from the bird grooming itself during a winter molt. Gotta get the warmer plumage in.
