Repost, I forgot the photo the first time lol. Photo sent to me from someone I'm in a discord server with. Stumped the birders there, so I decided to post it here! Only information we were given is that the person lives in "very coastal eastern USA." No measurements unfortunately (they didn’t keep it). Any thoughts?

Update: they’ve specified they found it in “a beach environment”. Maybe a juvenile seabird of some sort?

Maybe a salt and pepper chicken feather??

Oo, like a California Grey? They’re pretty close to this feather color

Could be for sure! I do think it is some type of chicken, there's so many so it's hard to narrow it down to one exactly!
