I headcannon that since jellal spent like 8ish years under some sort of brainwashing (thanks to ultear) and a further few years with amnesia, he has some resistance to mind controlling magic in that it has weird effects in him.

Basically he's been affected by a form of mind control that overwrites a person to an extent also slightly changing their personality. I don't know why it made him behave like that. Best I can guess is that it removed his restraint and shame causing him to act like this. I think.

Well yea I don't think she'd be like THAT kind of submissive or into anything too intense in general given her trauma. I don't think she'd have enough confidence in herself to be the one in control all the time either though.
I think with her in general it would be either about having someone take care of her the way nobody else ever really does or giving him what he wants to make him happy because she likes to show love through acts of service

it's been shown many times she doesn't really gaf about wearing weird stuff and doesn't see that stuff as sexual most of the time the way others would, besides the seduction armor which isn't a preference so much as a strategy thing, for if she's really really fucked and needs to break out whatver advantage she can get.
As for the books honestly I can imagine her reading it but I dont think she'd ever enjoy that stuff irl.
