Golden Retrievers [Misc Help]
I have had huskies previously for 18 years, but now that I am a bit older, and my last husky was challenging with having epilepsy and related behavioural issues, I am looking at a Golden Retriever puppy in May/June.
Is there anything in particular I need to be mindful of when considering this breed? I know that they are gentle and good family pets but some are bred to work etc. I am just looking for one that is happy in a family setting with some hiking trips etc. Are they ok off the lead and easy to train? Any known health problems? Any advice/experiences would be greatly appreciated.
