Usually one of 3 things
the backlight is dead will need a new lcd
The daughter board is dead and needs replacing
Or the most common is the flex between the motherboard and daughter board is damaged and that needs replacing

If you have a clean sound output and the sound/music is recognizable as belonging to a part of the main UI or a game, that suggests you have a working console.
So you probably have a faulty display, bad backlight or some part of the connection between the display and the main board is damaged.

Start by double checking to be sure all ribbon cables are fully inserted and latch securely closed. The switch lite can be picky with its ribbon cables.

Backlight driver ic is the first chip to go if the daughter board and main board ribbon shorts.

The ribbon cable in pic 3 looks like a screw has been driven into it or it’s been clamped by a post or something causing the damage that looks to be in the Center near the edge. Might have damaged that ribbon just enough to break the trace it looks like on a couple of the traces. Could this be the issue maybe? I’m just guessing but that ribbon looks damaged. You could disconnect the ribbon and shine a bright led flash light from the backside and see what you can see from your side with a magnifying lens. I’ve caught a few this way in the past. These cables are fragile and doesn’t take much to damage them if a person gets rammy or in a rush.

I see a bit of damage on the backlight cable. Would align to your listed symptoms.

Since you said it happened after you replaced the thumb sticks try and reset the ribbon cables. I've done the exact same thing before on both of my Switch Lites and I somehow didn't seat the ribbons correctly. Went back in and did what I mentioned and they both worked.

4 th picture, make sure both of the small ribbons are pushed in fully. the bottom ribbon is the light for the screen and looks slight out of the connector
