ps5 flew during crash
I was in a car crash today ( everyone and every kitty is fine just a little sore ) And my ps5 ended up outside the vehicle from the trunk and landed in the snow, is there any chance it will still work? Or anything I can do to save it possibly? I haven’t turned it on yet and probably will wait a few days to even try to turn it on. Any suggestions or tips will truly help 🫶🏽

Check the housing. If it's good, then most likely no hard surface impact. If it got snow inside of it, I recommend opening it and blow it out, stuff in a big zip lock back with a bunch of those desicants to remove moisture. Let it sit for few days.
If all looks good and you don't think snow got inside, it's probably fine. But to caution, let it sit under the sun for few days before turning on.

Fine a video on YouTube to open it up carefully and not break board connector sockets.
Open and let it dry out for days.
Water conducts electricity. If it’s under a heat sink or somewhere it will make a short circuit and burn out your ps5.
There are horror stories of people ripping out the fan connectors and such. Be extra careful and watch a few different videos.
Also if you have a m.2 nvme, remove it too.
Once you are sure it is dry like 100% bone dry, put it back together.
If this is hard. Take it to a shop. They have hot air rework stations and should be able to dry it for you much quicker.
Good luck OP. Happy you guys are safe. A ps5 can always be replaced. You can’t.
