It's a reminder to how far we've come on climate change, at least when it comes to renewable energy production. Just 15 years ago, a token gesture in the direction of renewable energy production was enough to turn heads. Now, 100s of gigawatts of solar and wind are being installed annually, and entire countries have plans to shift entirely away from fossil fuels.

I agree.

You can say what you want about China, but you have no idea how behind Canada is.

Not only that our economy/gdp proves that true. Manufacturing this stuff creates jobs too.
