The perfect follow-up to Aizen both in villain and plot. Ichigo’s development from “Great Power=Great Responsibility” to wanting to be the hero was amazing. I love how Ginjo further addresses how Soul Society is kinda evil, and how he’s a manipulator but in a different way to Aizen.

My only complaint is Chad’s lack of involvement. I want Chad vs Tsukishima I’d be cool as hell

One thing I always love is how every Bleach arc villain has an insane twist, Aizen, Ginjo, and Yhwach all share that in common, and the only one that didn’t catch me off guard was the Aizen one solely because of spoilers. I love Ginjo so much as a villain.

It's genuinely some of Bleach's best writing, anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong.

Personally like it more than soul society, seeing how much his powers and ability to protect other means to Ichigo made me love his character even more

It's not my favorite arc, but I consider it a good arc, the psychological terror in a more "realistic" environment feels more intense.

I understand that after the epicness of Aizen, it feels like a downgrade, but I think it's an interesting twist, and a way to delve deeper into the lore of the story.

I think a lot of readers expected every arc to up the ante since it’s common for a series to do that, especially a shonen. Which hey, we have TYBW for that. However the unnerving sense of dread as Ichigo slowly loses every single person around him was great, I agree with what you said about the terror.

Man when this arc came out people HATED it. It’s great to see as time passes that people realize it’s actually incredibly well done

At first I didn’t think it added much to the story but I actually think it’s cool now
