No. Jesus litteraly is setting up a kingdom. People will have different roles. Like the 12 apostles will be incharge of the 12 tribes of Isreal.

What was it Jesus said about this? He talked a lot about his kingdom

Mmm I dont think Jesus Himself spoke really about what the New World (i.e. after this one is done away with) will look like; that is detailed in Revelation by John. Jesus did say to the 12 that they would Judge Angels.. thats all (that I am recalling) that He really said about that. You're thinking of passages in Isaiah that point to the Restoration of Israel, Judges and the like.

As far as His 'Kingdom', Jesus made distinction between the 'Kingdom of Heaven' and the 'Kingdom of God'; The Kingdom of Heaven is Heaven; where God the Father lives and reigns, etc. The 'Kingdom of God', Jesus said, is "Come unto you"; it was Jesus righting the wrong done in Eden through His Death, Burial, and Resurrection. It isnt a physical kingdom; He said that explicitly. "My Kingdom is not of this world." It's because it was defeating the system of Sin that held the World captive, and providing True Salvation for those who would accept it, by believing on Him.

Have you read the Bible? He said it's going to be this but new.

No. He said that about us. Paul the apostle says to average Christians like us. "Do you not know you will judge angels?"

You realize the second coming is him establishing his kingdom here, and then making everything new.

No, I realize both, and you're right, I havent read as much as I should have in awhile. My intention was that he didnt give a terrible amount of detail on specifics of the New World; that is done exhaustively by John in Revelation.

The Second Coming is a bit more than that, but yes thats the End Goal/End of it; there's Armaggedon, the 1000 year reign of Christ, the short reign of satan after he's loosed, Gog and Magog attempting to encroach the Holy City, etc.

I havent been reading as much as I should, but I do know the basics.

Edited to add some text I missed.

I'll also add that while it'd be nice for Jesus to be in the poll (and of course I'd vote for Him), its not yet *Time* for Him to come and Take over, etc. As much as it pains to think, the World has to get a far slight worse, and the Spread of the Gospel more prolific, before we'll see the Lord's Government erase and remake all.
