Experience with wireless controller for 7800+

Wondering is everyone who had gotten this new 7800 model, has issues with their wireless controllers? Is there any delay with responsiveness? Don't own yet, just asking, as an unfortunately compulsively driven researcher before I buy any system.

Was kind of side-eyeng the gamestation pro (because I like the idea of built in games, plus ability to add more via the card slot ), and heard that many have had to hook up their controller via usb-c wire, to stop the lag behaviour. So this discovery about gs pro, prompted me to ask about the 7800+.

I haven’t so much noticed lag, but perhaps a bit of an “urge” to go up. Not like the up direction is stuck, but more like it is over sensitive. This is only on one of the two controllers I received. I have only had it since Christmas, and it seems to be getting better rapidly.

I will say that they should have come up with a way to identify which controller is which, because you can’t just follow the cable anymore. Also I wish the buttons were closer together, like a nes controller, so you can press them both with the same thumb, but that really only matters in a few games.

OK, thanks for the feedback. I did hear on several of the YouTuber review videos about the issue with the distance between the buttons.

I haven’t noticed lag with the controller either, but I hear you about the button placement. It’s more challenging to play Bentley Bear having to hold the run button while trying to jump at the same time 😂 I’ve adopted another method of holding the controller, which feels unnatural, but I’ve become more adept at it over time.
