Musicians?

Any LGBTQ+ females in Ashland play bass or drums? Looking for 2 people to fill out the lineup for our feminist surf punk band. Music is done for the most part and we want to start playing shows this spring. Lmk if interested or if you have questions. Thanks!

Deja vu

I don’t know why the baldheaded owner is so fucking rude to everyone, but at this point everyone should just starts stealing because you can go in there sweet as sugar and end up coming out feeling like you’re abusive relationship. Are he and his wife on that shit or do they just have really terrible personalities?

Looking for a kitten 🐱

Hi, I live in Ashland. I've been looking for a kitten to adopt for a month now. I took in a stray and cared for her for many happy years. She was an older cat and unfortunately passed. I don't care about the sex or whether they need any special care, I just have a lot of love to give. I am a responsible pet owner and own all the necessary items. The kitten will be going to a very loving home. Please contact if you have any leads. Thank you!

Party scene in Ashland?

I’ve lived in Ashland for a couple years now and I think it’s probably obvious to everyone that it’s not much of a party town. I’ve been trying to find out if there’s a party scene at ALL, and even though I’ve been unsuccessful in finding it, there just has to be. Does anyone have any ins or advice for how to find more things like that in such a boring town? Besides going to the bars because that’s obvious.

Handy trick if you're buying a used car anytime soon

My wife and I are in the process of getting my son a car for his birthday. He got his license a couple months back and can't stop borrowing our cars haha. We've been looking on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist for a reasonably priced used car and my wife's friend told her about this handy website that lets you look at the history of a car if you can get the VIN number.

Obviously no one's posting photos that include the VIN of the car they're selling but we've been messaging and asking for it prior to going to see cars we like. That way we can put the number into this website - https://vincheckup.com/ and find out if they've rolled back the odometer, if it's been in any accidents, the title so we know it's not stolen and a bunch of other stuff.

It saves a lot of time because you can avoid going to see cars with issues plus it provides a little peace of mind when you actually decide to go through with a purchase. Just thought I'd make this post for anyone who doesn't know something like this exists. Hopefully it'll help anyone in the market avoid buying a lemon. It's also interesting to take a look at your current car's history if you already own a previously used car.

I came to the 2025 New Year party at Ashland Armory and it’s been like super boring, very slow songs. Anyone else feel the same?

Ashland High- what’s the real deal?

I hear super positive things and then these really negative things about that school.

What’s the deal? Is it a good school, or a den of drug lords? Descriptions seem to widely vary.

Would love opinions from the last decade at least.

Winnemucca to Ashland tomorrow

66 all the way or take an alternative? In a truck with winter tires. Just because trip check says 66 is open...does that mean all is well? I took 66 the other direction once and it seems to have a low margin for error.

[UPDATE]: after lots of weather forecast reviews and camera checks, I ended up taking 140 to 66 and it was completely fine. Only place with any decent patches of ice/snow (they were small), were on 66 between Klamath Falls and Ashland. Thanks for all the advice from folks who replied.

Does anybody have other WiFi plans aside from spectrum?

I have heard about Ashland fiber or whatever it’s called, which I may look into, even if it is much more expensive. But I am NEVER going back to spectrum, what a morally corrupt company abusing their monopoly on the area. I just want to look into a different WiFi plan, ideally 50 or something close to it. They did me so wrong and there is no chance I am ever going back to them. Anybody have any other WiFi providers aside from spectrum or Ashland fiber?
