Just found a great beer!
Went to Dry Falls Brewing Company in Hendersonville today and had their small batch 1901 Plunge: Imperial Stout and it may be the best I’ve had in the local area as far as flavorful stouts go! Cheers to them, I strongly recommend if you like stouts!

Untappd rating is 3.46- for a barrel aged stout that is an atrocious rating
Ever had a burial stout?

It’s almost as if people have varied tastes? I’ve had plenty of whales that clock in at a near 5.0 on Untappd that I thought were trash.

Exactly. It's completely subjective. And shockingly not every Untapped reviewer is uniquely qualified to make an acute assessment. 👍😳👍

Yeah varied tastes, but 3.5 for a barrel aged stout is atrocious like i said, I’ll put money on it’s pretty objectively bad

Possible they’ve refined it batch after batch too 🤷♂️

It has like 25 reviews, so it’s probably new. And also, 25 reviews skews avg ratings higher than if it had hundreds of reviews

There’s a market for it but I didn’t like it.
