iPhone Locked To Owner iCloud

So my dad died and left me his iphone . Ive finally found the courage to unlock it but sadly IDK what his password is . Does apple have any support for this ? Or does anyone know how to bypass it? Or is it impossible and just throw the phone away ?

Sorry for your loss.

If you can unlock the phone, you can reset the password from Apple ID settings.

Failing that, if you still have access to your dad’s phone number you can go through account recovery.

And failing that you’ll need to submit an activation lock removal request which it sounds like you’ve already done.
