Cool things I saw snorkeling 🐠 πŸ™ FISH & FRIENDS πŸ™ 🐠

These are some cool things I saw snorkeling in the Bahamas (Exuma). I am actually not sure if they are more of a plant than an animal? I wondered if maybe it is similar to an anemone but I have never seen anything like these in any other areas I’ve snorkeled. The motion of the bottom portion makes me think it maybe does some kind of filter feeding..

I would love to know what they are, any guidance would be much appreciated!

Looks to me like an upside-down jellyfish. And I don't mean a normal jellyfish which happens to be upside-down, I mean a genus of jellyfish known for being upside-down.

lol I was assuming whatever it was could sting so didn’t want to disturb it in any way.
