Long-Tailed Duck!

Immature males don't have the long tail feathers and this is a species with an extremely complicated molt pattern. (The feathers can also be lost to a predator pretty easily.) 1 u/Dr_Slizzenstein 6h ago That makes sense, could be young ones and I know the colors don't always perfectly match up with example pictures.
