This judge can be a tad unjudicial at times but he handled Mr. Martin quite well. He also slammed Martin for all his nasty rhetoric in his paperwork which I was happy to see. Martin is a complete knob and not even a polished one. Too often judges let pro se parties slide on that issue and frankly, it has gotten worse over the years. Even among attorneys.
Way back in the the Early Renaissance when I started practicing law, I was in Ira Brown's courtroom for the Friday morning law & motion calendar. Judge Brown called a case and the attorney who had filed the motion got up and referred to the opposition filed by the other side as the moral equivalent of a drive-by shooting performed by a bunch of thugs out of Compton. Brown stopped, informed him that his comment was completely out of line, told the attorney his motion was denied and instructed him to not appear in Brown's courtroom again until he had written a letter of apology to the opposing counsel with a copy to the court.
Typically, a judge is not going to slam a lay person that hard but as this judge mentioned here, Martin is not a novice when it comes to courtrooms. If someone does not whack him for his rhetoric in his filed papers or in his oral argument, he is just going to keep doing it.

As one of the surely few people who watched this longer than a few minutes i feel compelled to share the most interesting thing i've learned so far: MARTIN IS AN APPRENTICE WITCH. At 44 min he explains that he's in training to be a magician and witch. Slaven goes huh? Martin explains that witchcraft is a religion, and being a magician is practicing magic, and he's in training for both.
so good.

With his opposition disorder he'd probably be out of work and out of luck either way.
