Do you know of any stories of the interactions between these thermometer drinkers and those inside a prison or jail? UNCLEAR
We see plenty of instances of courtroom footage, and instances of varying police or bureaucrats being presented with this stuff. How about an instance inside a prison or jail?

CO here. They tend to eventually not go on their ramblings for long (If they have at least any survival instincts) but if you say key words/phrases, they’ll go on their ramblings if they feel you’ll listen.

I've spent plenty of time in holding cells with them. They're obnoxious but no one pays them any mind. To be honest, they usually end up in a turtle suit pretty quick, as mental stability isn't their forte.

That's interesting, it's "pickle" where I am. Good name in either case, since they seem always to be green. (I'm a former jail psychiatrist, not a CO)

From a psychiatric standpoint, there has to be some correlation between magical thinking, functional illiteracy, and SovCits. It's almost like Dunning-Krueger.

What Team Skeptic calls "crayon munchers".
As in someone who doesn't have their crackers salted on both sides.

Someone who poisons their brain by drinking thermometer liquid like mercury.

I wonder if the youtuber Lockdown 23 & 1 would be a good source of info. His material doesn't get into sov cit stuff much. But I bet he'd have an interesting take.

They may sway some people in a county lockup but state prisoners know they're insane.

Published reports and commentary I've received from prison and remand personnel in Canada is they don't do terribly well. Regular criminals view them as, well, a kind of freak show. And an annoying one at that.
I certainly can attest to them being annoying!
My understanding is historically the situation in the US has been different, and that Moorish pseudolaw is proselytized in the US prison systems.
