I’m a dummy and accidentally scratched off the pin for a gift card (don’t use tweezers for scratch offs).

My late father had a walk-in vault like the kind you see in a bank. Among the items inside was a container with these inside. It looks like they were partially melted. Each piece is SUPER heavy. Any ideas what THEY might be? The quarter is there for scale.

Can someone pls help me! I found this on the bed of a hotel room and I’ve been searching on google what it could be but nothing is coming up. It reminded me of a cat’s tongue, but there are no cats here. It’s hard like a bone.

Bought this book today and found this on the first page. It’s a book from the 80s, can anyone point me in the right direction to why this is on the first page? Not sure if this is the correct subreddit for this but not sure what is

It looks like two cups cut up and sealed with tape. It's sealed up pretty securely along the edges and where the cups were cut. The black and gold thing is a car cup holder tissue box with tissues pressed along the wall within it.

There is an airtight sealed straw between the cut up cups and the taco bell cup has the lid with the straw hole unblocked and the lid is still removable.

Any ideas?? 😭

Seems to be cast steel, weighty. Just found on the warehouse floor here in central Florida. All searches come up with items that are close, but not close enough. No threading inside. No packaging found.

Hey guys, we just received this old container of oil and there's this strange symbol in it.

Does anybody knows what it means? Is it some kind os warning?

I hope it's just sediment from like barley or hops or the process of brewing, but I have no clue what these are. Please help.

I took this picture in Cardiff (pic 1) around 7am because the sky had a beautiful hue, and I wanted to paint it. At the time, I noticed what I thought was a tiny cloud in the sky, but I didn’t think much of it. Later, when I looked back at the photo, I noticed that this strange shape did not really resemble a cloud. I tried to debunk it, thinking it might be a lens flare caused by the lamp post reflecting on my phone camera, but I also took another picture from a few steps back (pic 2) and a different angle, and the shape was still there. I took the photo outside, not through a window or anything that could create a reflection and my camera lens isn’t damaged or anything. I really have no idea what it could be—any thoughts?

Context: I’m renovating a house from 1870 in southern Midcoast Maine, and found this while working.
