I've seen them before. Like a high backed low stool. I assume the back is so high so you didn't have to bend down to move it? Looks like a good shoe-putting-on stool!

My grandmother had one of these it was like a step stool but yeah with a high back so she didn’t have to lean over to move it

Ok that sounds reasonable i was confused about the guy saying litter box I think he thought I was talking about the crate. Also do you happen to have any idea about the loop hole up top? Thanks for the response though!

It is a step stool with a long back or "handle" so Grandma doesn't have to bend over to move it.... my father was an amature wood worker and used to make these

Is that a trashbag in front of the literbox? Did the back of the chair taper up to the point with the circle? I can't tell if that's the side profile of banquette seating or just a really low stool. There seems to be seating of the same color paint against the far wall.

Why do you smear a greasy finger over the lens before taking the photo?

To me it looks like a dressing chair someone might put in a bedroom. The seat is low enough that you can put your foot up on it as well as sit on it. The high back is so you can hang a shirt or jacket on it. It would be easier to identify what the loop is for if we could see it clearly.
