First buck, Second season
15yd shot with buckshot. Learned a lot through the whole process. Best of luck on the last weekend day of the season!

Well done! I hope you get him mounted! The first one should at least get a German plaque

I’m loosely trying an at-home euro mount. Would’ve done the German but I don’t have the space for it

Just curious, was it a 3pt minimum? What did you use to confirm the points if so? Had trouble determining if a deer I was looking at had a 3rd point until he turned and walked closer to me. That was with a 3-9 scope and 10x binos.

No, not a 3 pt minimum. I don’t think he would be legal if it was 3 pts minimum because that 3rd on the right side is less than an inch.

Congrats! I'm impressed by you guys that get it done with shotguns during modern firearms season. What was your strategy?
