Hi all, I have around 15k I want to spend on a used vehicle. I have been looking on Carvana a lot and I see a lot of Hyundais for sale on there.. I need something that is reliable and maintainable. I don't mind a vehicle that is around the 2017 year range. i just need some recommendations., Purchasing my first vehicle in the US

I have been contemplating purchasing a Hyundai however I have heard some bad things about their engines seizing up or straight up exploding. Same with Nissans also (obviously it may change per model)

Around 2017, I'd look at the Mazda lineup instead of Hyundai/Kia, Nissan, VW, or the American alternatives. Mazda3 is compact size, Mazda6 is mid-size, and CX-5 is their mainstream compact SUV . Mazda3 can be a sedan or hatchback.
