Slowly unfucking my very small studio apartment that I share with my boyfriend. I struggle with overconsumption (obviously) and I’m FAR from being a minimalist but I think it looks so much better! Now I just need to go through my clothes and decide what to get rid of but I’ll save that for another day.

I’m with you! Also in a Bachelor and its so hard. Mentally for me minimalism is best, but logistically its tough. I have a closet I have not been been to enter in 5+ years because there is so much crap in it. Ha!

A couple things that may help:

Please stop buying candles. lol. They are usually used for a calming effect, but they’re actually going to overwhelm you with all the space they take up.

If you mix a touch of perfume with unscented lotion, the scent goes a long ways. You won’t need all those small bottles of Bath and Body Works body wash. Buy one big bottle of unisex body wash or a wall dispenser (if you need more room in your bathroom).

You did amazing! I usually buy refillable soap but I totally got several of those bath and body works soaps with the jewel tone, embossed bottles myself. They were so pretty that I refill them now!

I work at bath and body works and the constant sales and new scents get me😭 I recently quit and I’m going on a no buy for a year so I can use what I have because it’s addicting and I’ll never get through all of this!!

Your dresser is nice, but what do you actually have in there? It seems like you could be hanging a lot more items, and not having the dresser would free up space. I started hanging my T-shirts and pants. I still have a ways to go with declutterring my world, but the less flat surfaces I have…the better off I am. Unfortunately, I am the queen of stacking junk.

Most of it is underwear, bras, pajamas, sleep shirts, and more sweatpants. I’ve never thought about getting rid of it though that’s a good idea!!
