Trying to sell a rifle
I've been trying to sell a Ruger AR, haven't had any success on UGE. I've tried to post on Utah Gun Hub but I get an error anytime i try to add images, and it won't let me post the listing without images. Aside from going to a local gun shop, where else can I sell?

you can put it up for consignment at some gun stores, they will take a commission for selling the rifle, and possibly an intake fee too.

I do this too or make an outright offer Burgett's Fine Gunsmithing

Ive put up consignment like twice before, didn’t like the fact that they mailed me my money as a check. Though if you reasonably price guns on UGE they tend to sell fast in my experience.

I mostly do gunsmithing so I'm happy to give you cash after the money clears from the person who buys it. I mostly do consignment via GunBroker. Most of the time I just make a cash offer, unless it is something very high-end.

iirc you’re up in Logan or Brigham right? I’m all the way down by Utah County so I just stick with going to Gunnies or Ready Gunner.

Yeah no worries. I'm in Brigham but if ya find yourself up here keep me in mind!

This. I think The Armory in Sandy will, and know for a fact that Next Shot Precision in Orem will.

It doesn't matter that Gun Hub wouldn't let you post, because nobody uses it anyway. That's all I can assume, because the last 2 guns I listed had contacts solely from UGE, and Hub has crap for listing analytics.

You're going to have to lower the price if you want it to move quickly. Most AR's have poor resale value since they're super cheap/common. Because of this you probably won't get close to what you paid new. Some guns hold their value but (for AR's) Ruger, s&w, palmetto etc won't (If you paid $650 for it new, you could probably get $450-500). Anyway the UGE is still your best bet.
