I ordered this over Magical Chase on Turbo Zone Direct back in the day.

No regrets. None. Doesn’t irk me ever. Not even a little. Barely remember doing that. Water under the bridge. Chalk it up to just another poor life choice. How was I suppose to know? It looked like a freakin little girls game in the magazine! I love cute’em up’s. It wasn’t my fault. It wasn’t. I swear.

Does it bother you to know all unsold copies of Magical Chase were destroyed? Yes that was a common thing with dead stock back then. Apple destroyed all their remaining Apple Lisa 2 / Mac XL systems they had consigned with Sun Remarketing.

I think I just died a little inside from reading that. That's a terrible thing to destroy!!

I had this back in the day. Got it for $9.89 out of a clearance bin at toys R us. I thought the game sucked. I regret not keeping it!

Could be worse. I ordered Dungeon Explorer 2 from tzd and while the disc was fine, it came in a plain jewel case with photocopied manual. Their reasoning? All they had left were the discs.

Yet, they still sold them at the $49.99 msrp at the time (yeah, I kept it, but it still irks me)

That sir is a rare variant and if you still have it get it VGA graded and sell it to some idiot for $20k.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 I like the way you think

I'm only partially joking.

There's no shortage of collectors who would desperately want an official variant like that.

and plenty more idiot scalpers who'd pay top dollar to try and resell it.

I still have the same “version” of DE2! Always pissed me off that it came with a photocopied manual.

I bought 6 or 7 games from them and this was the only one that ever came that way 😢.... My 1 ugly copy of all my tg-16 cd games

I'd have done the same thing tbh

It’s a pretty fun game, I am sure me and my brothers would have played this much more than Magical Chase in the early 90s. I loaned Bonk III to the neighbor and he moved away. If it was Magical Chase, I might have to track him down lol.

If it makes you feel better I played this game so much when I was younger! It was an upgrade over one of my fav NES games Track and Field 2, and included gratuitous use of the turbo buttons!

Might have to revisit tonight!

I never actually ordered anything from TZD but I bought a busted TurboExpress off my college roommate and sent it to TZD and $50. They sent me a brand new in box replacement TurboExpress. I still have it. Works great but it has a dead pixel 👎

Me and my brothers after getting a turbo duo looking through bargain bin of turbo games: Who wants this stupid witch game! I don't remember what we got that day, but I'll always remember that.

We also got Valis 3 for christmas a few days before that, but we didn't have the Duo yet so we had it returned.

I love this! 😂 And I would have done the same thing.

But hey, World Sports is apparently a thing now.
