Prayer for resisting thoughts of the enemy

Hi. I'm really struggling with spiritual warfare. I feel helpless. If you could pray for me, that would mean a lot.

1 Corinthians 2:16 (specifically the part "But we have the mind of Christ") and 2 Timothy 1:7 ("For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind"), are lifesavers when dealing with thoughts from the enemy.  I encourage you to read, recite and remind yourself of these verses daily (I do this myself as I have many intrusive thoughts, even blasphemous ones sadly).

I praise God in advance and give Him all the glory for delivering you from the mental harassment of the enemy, in Jesus name!  God bless you!!!

Jesus gave us authority to trample on demons

Say this: “I put a hedge of protection around my mind and my life in the mighty name of Jesus I command.

I command all the demons tormenting me to be sent into the abyss in the mighty name of Jesus!

If you remind me of my past again be reminded of your future in the lake of fire.

Every knee shall bow to Jesus!

I set on fire all altars of the devil known and unknown in the physical and spiritual and I break them in Jesus’ name!

In case you didn't already know, here is some scripture that may help wearing the Armor of God. And of course, as you know, keep praying for guidance.

Ephesians 6:10-18:

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Wear the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
