I really love SolarPunk and did this render! I think AI images are pretty antithetical to the movement, and this one has a filter over it that messes with the models so please don’t try to manipulate my art. I love the idea of alternate climate solarpunk. This one involves blameless turbines and water wheels that are fed by rain/the roof. I like to think that the little river also has some hydro-electric generators and the roof greenhouse grows the food! It’s a fun thought experiment.

Before anyone says anything there is a game literally called solar punk on steam and is releasing sometime in 2025 (yes I already have it wish listed).

Anyways I ADORE the solar punk genre especially as someone who is going into environmental engineering for a major but I could never find a game nails that solar punk itch. So anyone know of some games that give that itch?

Also as a bonus u can mention movies and tv shows but I like video games mostly.

Ok since I’ve had a bunch of people b**** at me for using ai for personal work projects (on another sub) I had some people say there’s people “wiling to do projects for free for the cause” even though I know that’s a whole nother way to start an argument, I guess let’s try it.

I’m working on a non profit, and it’s a network bio mimicking mycelium. We’re working to connect people, communities, and organizations, acting as resource distribution, help to transition from the matrix, a vetting system for communities, and more. I’m creating a pitch deck so we can get funding. I need a graphic that’s mirroring a mycelial network, but adding some of the things I’m talking about, almost like a brain storm web.
