Is this plate coral dying [Pic]

Got this yesterday morning and it looked perfect all day. Ate some mysis shrimp too but when i woke up it looks like this ?

Something’s definitely wrong it’s closed up which could be normal if something irritated it but it looks like its flesh is receding. So it’s been an ongoing issue. How long have you had it ? And what are your perimeters ? Also if it does die leave it in the tank they can grow baby’s after dying.

I have had it for about 24 hours. Water parameters where all in spec last weekend i am waiting for my new test kits to test again.

I don’t think the flesh would recede like that in 24 hours it wasn’t too healthy when you bought it it looks like.

Not necessarily; it's a myth that a more inflated coral is necessarily a healthier one. If you see flesh receding, then yes. What are your parameters?
