Ocean Shores lodging recommendations

My wife and I are looking for a hotel in Ocean Shores, preferably as close to the water as possible. Our trip will be end of March/first week of April. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

On the beach is the Canterbury Inn. They’ve got the cleanest and nicest rooms in ocean shores, near the main approach and the center of town. They are condo style rooms, with kitchenettes and have options ranging from double bed, up to 2 bedroom units.

I stayed here for a birthday trip and really loved it. Was also a great pet friendly option. Short walk to the beach, local deer walked right up to me at night. It was magical.

Any particular reason you are going to Ocean Shores? Only reason I would go there is to then proceed directly up the coast to Quinault or Forks.

If you have no particular reason, why not take a left at Aberdeen and head to Westport. There are some funky little cabins, surfing, and The Local is just down the road.

We didn't care for Ocean Shores and will not be going back. Westport and even Long Beach, we liked much better.

Looking for a quiet, romantic spot with a walkable beach and waves.

Surfcrest Resort is exactly what you're looking for. It's a short drive north of town, but has the best section of beach and the place is super nice. My family really enjoyed it.

In September, we stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites. We just needed the room to sleep. Very affordable, clean, and comfortable.

Go to the Grey Gull! Then make sure to head over to the Porthole, and sit there for several hours. People who say they don't like Ocean Shores don't know what they are talking about, and are probably a bunch of waffle eating yuppies.
