a bit off topic but as a serbian citizen who served army in ljubljana back in '82 i disagree that slovenia has anything with balkan culture. much more like austria even back then in yugoslav socialism.

Southeastern Turkey, maybe even the complete eastern Turkey would hardly count culturally Balkan… They’re more Caucasus, Levantine, or Iranic culture.
