Kailua Beach - how early should I get there for parking?

Planning on going this Friday. How early should I get there to ensure I get parking? Any other recommendations are appreciated. First timer in Hawaii 🌺 TIA!

Presently the circle by Kailua beach park is being rebuilt. As of this week, all traffic leaving Lanikai is routed through the beach parking lot. Id avoid Kailua beach or go to Castles or Kalama beach instead.
