Fighters Ohtani Jersey?

Apologies if this gets asked often, couldn’t find an answer through search personally.

Going to Japan next year. Would it be difficult to find a Nippon Ham Fighters Ohtani jersey in Tokyo/Osaka? Thanks in advance.

He hasn't played for the F's since 2017 and he played in Hokkaido, which is quite far from Tokyo and Osaka. Best shot would be a used goods shop like Hard Off, but the chances of stumbling upon a Fighters jersey outside of Hokkaido is slim.

Adding to this, I was just there (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima) and came up empty. I thought I would have seen a place selling his stuff but nope. Specifically went to many baseball stores.

Even the Orix team shop which I visited had only a very small selection of Yamamoto gear, despite him just having played for them last year. Seems like the chances of getting a Fighters Ohtani jersey is extremely slim.

Also the Fighters changed their uniform when they moved to Es Con Field, which defeats the purpose of getting a custom #11 Ohtani jersey, since its not the jersey design he wore.

I miss the gold away jerseys, and the unique sleeves of the home jerseys.

japan-baseball-jersey,com has some, but pretty pricey.

I picked up a nice kanji shirsey, they had his jersey, some posters/memorabilia, and his dodgers gear (jersey, caps)

they also had dodgers posters with ohtani+yamamoto

Yeah it doesn't seem like it's worn at all outside of games. I was in Yokohama for the Japan Series this past year and I didn't see any Baystar jerseys out in public. Only on game-day and near the stadium.

You can find Fighters stuff pretty easily in Tokyo. Finding retro stuff is very hit or miss, though

I've seen more of his old Fighters jerseys just in the Seattle area than I ever did in Japan. If you wanted to find one, your best bet would be to look somewhere in Hokkaido. At this point though, they've probably become collectors items and are probably few and far between.

Keep in mind that in general people don't wear NPB goods for fashion like they do MLB, and that these goods haven't been produced for a very long time now.

Best bet is to find something on Mercari and ship it to your home.
