User Poll r/NCAAW 2024-25 Top 25 Poll - Week 7
First, let's take a look at last week's winners of the game predictions. We had two very accurate winners that were each ONLY TWO POINTS off the actual game score.
- Iowa 75-69 - u/BP9009 (74-68). Off by just 2 points!
- Notre Dame 79-68 - u/Longjumping_page977 (79-70). Off by just 2 points!
- NC State 72-42 - u/slyslockbox (66-49). Off by 13 points.
Now, onto this week's results of our new Top 25! After Notre Dame's big win last Thursday, they and UConn almost flipped identical spots. Our other undefeated teams (Michigan State, Tennessee, and Georgia Tech) continue to rise in the rankings. Cal is our new member to the poll this week, climbing seven spots, as Iowa State is knocked out of the Top 25.

User Poll r/NCAAW 2024-25 Top 25 Poll - Week 6
We have no changes at the absolute top of our poll, but lots of movement elsewhere. After climbing nine spots last week to an r/NCAAW Top 25 Poll all-time high to #5, TCU drops 8 spots to #13 from their humiliating rout at the hands of South Carolina. Tennessee is back amongst the ranks this year, checking in at #17, along with Georgia Tech (#21) and NC State (back at #24). That leaves Alabama, Illinois, and Louisville all out of the rankings. Tonight's Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series may now be a little more interesting with both teams ranked right after each other, Iowa at #22 and Iowa State at #23.

User Poll r/NCAAW 2024-25 Top 25 Poll - Week 8
Merry Christmas all!!! As an extra present for today, we'll unveil the newest rankings of the r/NCAAW Top 25 Poll! Our top 3 teams remain unchanged with just a little jostling after them. Duke dropped the most this week, after their upset loss to South Florida. They're now out of the top 10, at #15.
First, here are last week's winners of our game predictions:
- Oklahoma 72-62 - u/LetsGoGameCrocks (72-60) Off by JUST 2 POINTS!

User Poll r/NCAAW 2024-25 Top 25 Poll - Week 10
Well, we have almost an identical top 13 teams if it weren't for TCU and Oklahoma flip-flopping. That should most definitely change this week with the schedule we have. As for new teams, we get both Florida State (#22) and Utah (#23) making big jumps into the poll, while Iowa and Michigan both slide out.
First, here are last week's winners of our game predictions:
- Texas 80-73 - u/manzanita-sol (78-72) and u/BP9009 (82-74), both off by 3 points.
- Notre Dame 76-66 - u/Zloggt (75-67), off by 2 points.
- Maryland 74-66 - u/BP9009 (74-68), off by 2 points.

User Poll r/NCAAW 2024-25 Top 25 Poll - Week 2
Thanks to everybody who voted! We had 29 ballots this week, up from 21 last week. As a reminder, anybody is welcome to vote in future installments!
- Our voters came from 18 different fanbases, spanning nine conferences. There was one computer poll submitted, with two other voters altering the output of their computer polls, and still three others referencing their computer polls when composing their ballot.
- We asked voters who they currently believe will win this season's national championship. 11 said South Carolina, 6 said UConn, 4 said Notre Dame, 3 said UCLA, 1 said USC, 1 said Stanford, and 3 did not have an answer.
- We also asked voters to predict the score of two different games this week. My data collection was poor, so I tossed any predictions who did not indicate a winner (mea culpa). Of the predictions I could discern, the median predicted score between UConn and UNC is 80.5-62.5, UConn (22 predictions). None of the 22 predictions predicted a UNC victory.
- Meanwhile, the median predicted score between Louisville and Kentucky is 71-65, Louisville. There were 23 predictions for this one, and only two picked a Kentucky victory.
Without further ado, the Top 25 for this week!
Thanks for voting/reading, and have a great week!

User Poll r/NCAAW 2024-25 Top 25 Poll - Week 9
With the slow Christmas week, we don't see too much of a change in the r/NCAAW Top 25 Poll. We have almost the same top 10 with the top 5 spots remaining the same and Maryland jumps three to #6. We also have the same 25 teams in the poll this week with no new teams able to enter the mix.
First, here are last week's winners of our game predictions:
- Maryland 72-66 - u/BP9009 (72-67) Off by ONLY 1 POINT!!!
- USC 78-58 - u/Clear_Duck2138 and u/Ok-Baby-3871 (71-60) Off by ONLY 1 POINT!!!
Shoutout to u/Ok-Baby-3871, who almost won both predictions by being off 3 points total for those games!

User Poll r/NCAAW 2024-25 Preseason Top 25
We had 21 responses for our preseason poll and South Carolina is our clear #1. They had 15 votes for the top spot with USC, UConn, and UCLA also getting votes. For our predictions, South Carolina had the most votes for National Champions with 8. USC was a close second with 6. They both, along with UConn, were clearly picks to make the Final Four. The fourth spot came down to a tie between Notre Dame and Texas.

User Poll 2024-25 NCAAW Mid-Major+ User Poll Top 20 Ballot: Week 10
This is not the main NCAAW user poll ballot, for that ballot go here. The link to vote for the Mid-Major+ user poll is at the bottom of this post.
This poll features the top 20 weekly rankings of ALL teams excluding those from the ACC, B10, B12, BE & SEC. While the future of the P12 is sorted out, Oregon St and Washington St are also now eligible on ballots, at least for 2024-25, while they are in the WCC.
The "+" in this poll's name is a nod to the varied usage of the term "mid-major", as there are teams in this poll sometimes discussed as outliers, high or low majors etc. and the scope of this poll includes ALL teams outside of the 5 conferences mentioned above. Mid-Major is not an official term used by the NCAA and is not interpreted the same by all. The primary purpose of this poll is for starting conversations about the teams themselves, not the concept of a mid-major. Remember have fun and be courteous to others!
After asking around with some folks who voted last season we are trialing Top 20 rankings, up from 15. If the increase becomes too challenging for voters who have wanted to participate in the past, we may revert back to 15 next season, or if it's a precipitous drop off in participation, sooner if necessary.
This poll utilizes a drop down menu that abbreviates many teams with geographic/compass directions. For example: C. Arkansas for Central Arkansas & W. Carolina for Western Carolina. Some teams won't have these abbreviations and a small number of team names may vary on different websites compared to the ballot list, but hopefully it should be pretty straightforward. If there’s any confusion please feel free to contact me.
Expect for the foreseeable future this will be free to all voters, no application required, just like the main NCAAW user poll. User names are required for submitting ballots, in case any follow up is required, but ballots will be anonymous and not shared with the results for the time being.
I don’t anticipate there to be many voters here that don’t already participate in the main NCAAW user poll. However, if this would be the first poll for any voters and you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments section.
