These are the rankings for games through 12/22. For others receiving votes and more info about this poll go here.

Until the next poll comes out, here are some notable games through Wed for the current top 20 (in bold):

Sat 12/28: Portland @ Santa Clara

Su 12/29: South Florida @ Rice, Middle Tennessee @ Princeton, VCU @ Saint Joseph’s, Troy @ James Madison, N. Arizona @ Grand Canyon

Mon 12/30: Oregon St @ Portland

Too many tight wins. Holy Cross, Maine, Cornell, Rider... a top 5 MM team should have a 15-20 average margin down that stretch.

Fair but if this was the AP they like don’t care if wins are tight - win is win.

Michigan (on the men’s side.. I know but it’s a relevant example) has lost three games on the road or neutral quad two or above - by a combined 5 points - and are unranked. Behind teams with the same record with blowout losses.

The NET also doesn’t (personal opinion) consider close losses as much as they should- or close wins for that matter.

Maybe Reddit voters actually are more in tune with the teams than the AP.

That’s not a joke it’s possible that these voters are more connected especially to mid major teams than the AP is particularly on the women’s side. Dead serious- I think the Reddit rankings are more accurate than the AP sometimes
